Welcome to Sandwich Community Television

Thanks for visiting Sandwich Community Television online. SCT is located in the Sandwich Industrial Park, 11 Jan Sebastian Drive, Unit 10, in the beautiful town of Sandwich, Massachusetts. 

SCT provides communication among local residents and organizations by producing and airing programs that focus on local people, issues and services. We broadcast weekly "live" government meetings of the Sandwich Board of Selectmen, School Committee and the Finance Committee. Sandwich Historical Commission meetings are recorded and rebroadcast. Each year we broadcast a live Annual Town Meeting and any Special Town Meeting(s) during the year.

Individuals and community groups may also express their thoughts, perspectives, and ideas by producing their own television shows. We also cable-cast "bicycled" shows. These are shows produced at other cable access facilities, requested by SCT residents.

Did you know that SCT uploads programs to PegMedia?  PegMedia is a media exchange portal that allows access stations to upload programs and share them with other access stations across the country. Thanks to PegMedia producers have more visibility, programming can branch out from Sandwich, to Cape Cod, to Western Mass or to the west coast! The opportunities are endless and limited only by your scope. Our workshops educate local residents and others in studio and field production. Workshop graduates can go on to develop their own local television programs, or volunteer on other producer's shows. Equipment includes a three-camera studio, video camcorders for remote shoots, non-linear video editing suites equipped with Final Cut Pro.

SCT is an independent, non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization, with the majority of funding provided by cable franchise fees and cable company support. Additional revenue comes from donations, fund raising and client services.
