Studio ClassesOrientation Learn about SCT and public access television at a free orientation open to the public. All new members are required to attend an orientation before registering for classes. Every Monday and Friday at 11am we are available to give a tour of the studio and a brief orientation to what we are all about. You can also call any time and make an appointment for a tour that is convenient for you. This is your access station so come and visit and see what we have to offer to the community and to you! Basic Studio Production This class is for members who want to get started producing multi-camera studio programs. In the first session you will learn how to work as a camera operator and floor director in SCT's three-camera TV studio. The last session will cover the operation of the control room, including the digital switcher, audio board, and graphics. You will also learn the basics of directing in the studio. After completing the class if you wish you can make yourself available to crew on upcoming productions. After some experience with production and camera work students will be eligible to produce their own programs. Be creative and express yourself! Free with membership to SCT ($25.00 residents of Sandwich) |
